Your bread bag has two separate components. Taking the liner out makes it easier to remove crumbs and care for each material individually.
Separate the components
Unclip and unroll the opening, remove any bread and lift out the inner liner. Empty loose crumbs before cleaning. The cream webbing and black buckle belong to the cotton outer; the removable liner is a separate plain pouch.
Be gentle with the beeswax liner
For gentle routine care, wipe the liner with a soft cloth, cool water and mild soap, then let it air-dry. Follow the care label supplied with your bag. Avoid scrubbing the surface. Keep the waxed material away from hot water, ironing, machine washing and tumble drying.
Check the outer bag’s instructions
Do not assume the cotton outer and waxed liner can be washed together. Follow the supplier’s confirmed care label for the outer bag, including any guidance for the printed fabric and buckle.
Dry before putting it back together
Leave the pieces separate until fully dry, then fit the liner back inside the outer. Choose a place away from direct heat. Do not fold away damp components or refill the liner while it is still wet.
